Job summary

WellStar seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Float Pool, providing critical respiratory care across units and locations within the WellStar network. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient care and education.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, patient assessments, and collaboration with clinicians to optimize care. A BS degree and AMA-approved RT program are required, with BLS/ACLS; ACLS preferred and 3+ years of hospital RT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Sciences; required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities; team-oriented care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in critical care and hospital settings.
• Educate patients and families, mentor new staff and students.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement care strategies.
