Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington in Washington, MO is hiring a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to provide direct patient care, consult with physicians, and support the team. Full-time 36 hours weekly, day shift, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Missouri Respiratory Care License required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential through NBRC.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient respiratory status.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Assist with development and modification of respiratory treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and disease management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Promote patient safety and best respiratory care practices.
