BetterNight is seeking a sleep technologist to download, read, and score home sleep tests, and to contact patients about results. The role prioritizes a first-class patient experience and precise data interpretation.

You will work remotely during day shifts in Pacific Standard Time, using Brightree and related systems, to discuss results, provide education, and help schedule setups. BRPT certification plus 1+ year sleep industry experience required.

Qualifikationen

• Registered by the board of Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) with 1+ year of experience in sleep industry.
• Experience with Brightree, Sleep image, general Sleep, Nexus 360, Wesper, Ensodata, WatchPAT.

Aufgaben

• Analyze and score data from home sleep studies.
• Download data from ambulatory recorders and document results.
• Initialize home sleep study equipment.
• Discuss sleep study results with patients and provide education for scheduling setup.
• Achieve department KPIs on a regular basis.
• Access patient, insurance and billing information in Brightree as needed.
• Comply with Patient Rights and HIPAA regulations.
• Provide patient demonstrations and trainings on diagnostic sleep apnea ambulatory recorders.

Description

The sleep technologist is responsible for downloading, reading and scoring home sleep tests, as well as contacting patients regarding their sleep studies. The expectation of this position is to provide a first class patient experience, with every patient interaction.

• Analyzes and scores data from home sleep studies using a variety of software systems.
• Downloads data from ambulatory recorders and documents results.
• Initializes home sleep study equipment.
• Communicates with patients via phone or in person to discuss sleep study results and provides education and information needed to successfully schedule a setup appointment.
• Successfully completes department KPI’s on a regular basis.
• Works competently in Brightree to access and retrieve patient, insurance and billing information as needed.
• Must be knowledgeable in Patient Rights and Responsibilities, including HIPPA regulations.
• Provides patient demonstrations and trainings on the use of the diagnostic sleep apnea ambulatory recorders.
• Must have regular attendance and be on time for scheduled shifts on Pacific Standard Time (7:00am-3:30 pm or 8:00am-4:30 pm).

Requirements

• Registered by the board of Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) with 1 plus year of experience in the sleep industry
• Experience with the following systems: Brightree, Sleep image, general Sleep, Nexus 360, Wesper, Ensodata, watchpat
• Must be detail oriented, task focused and organized
• Working knowledge of Spanish language helpful, but not required
• This is a day, remote scoring position
