Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Salisbury, MD is seeking a MD Polysom Scoring Tech to join as a 1099 independent contractor. You will score sleep studies, analyze polysomnographic data, and ensure high-quality, compliant scoring outcomes to support diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

The role requires an active Maryland RPSGT license, accurate documentation, adherence to HIPAA, and ability to work remotely or on-site as needed. Compensation is per study scored and aligns with AASM standards.

Qualifications

• Current credential as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
• Experience scoring in-lab or home sleep studies with knowledge of AASM rules and standards.
• Maintain 30 CEUs within a rolling 36-month period.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current State Licensure, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Score sleep studies according to the most current AASM Scoring Manual.
• Analyze physiological data from EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, respiratory signals, and oximetry.
• Interpret sleep architecture and patterns to aid diagnosis and management of sleep disorders.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR or scoring systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols.
• Score assigned studies within the designated turnaround times.
