About The Position

Seeking qualified RPSGT to work in the DC area

MUST HAVE DC LICENSE

Seeking Part Time and/or PRN

Days

MD license a plus and/or will reimburse once obtained

Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus, depending on status (Part-time only qualifies)

Experienced RPSGTs are needed to work in a busy DC setting. The position offers sleep services on a part-time and/or PRN basis during day shifts. Competitive hourly rates are available based on experience.

Additional incentive pay per shift is available based on attended studies and productivity.

MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management and therapy services, partnering with hospitals and physician practices to provide comprehensive, fully integrated sleep testing, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care management for sleep disorders.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Facilitating sleep studies and collecting data.
  2. Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results.
  3. Following proper polysomnographic procedures, including electrode and sensor placement, equipment calibration, and fitting airway pressure masks.
  4. Scoring clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes and submitting final data for review.
  5. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and laws.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or higher education.
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
  • Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
  • Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene licensure is a plus.
  • DC license.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • CPR certification.
  • Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment. The role involves operating office equipment and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds occasionally.
