About The Position

Full Time RPSGT needed for our Poughkeepsie, NY location. Urgently hiring.

Up to $15k sign-on bonus available.

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking an experienced NY-licensed RPSGT (Technologist) or RT/CRT to work full time, 3-4 nights per week, from 8 pm to 6 am. Competitive hourly rates are available depending on experience, with a 3:1 patient-to-technologist ratio.

Additional incentive pay per shift is available based on attended studies and scoring productivity.

MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. We partner with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive, fully integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care management of sleep disorders.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Gather and analyze patient information.
  2. Collect, analyze, and integrate patient data to identify and meet patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding testing procedures, relevant medical/social history) and determine final testing parameters in conjunction with the physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.
  3. Complete and verify documentation.
  4. Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to patients.
  5. Prepare and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
  6. Verify that patient video recordings are operating properly per laboratory standards.
  7. Perform physiological calibrations to ensure signals are proper and make adjustments if necessary. Perform positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting.
  8. Follow procedural protocols such as MSLT, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP, oxygen titration, etc., to ensure proper data collection.
  9. Perform polysomnographic data acquisition, monitor study tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free, and make adjustments if necessary.

Pay Range: $45-$55 depending on experience (no gaps in work as an RPSGT for more than two months).

Job Requirements:

  1. High school diploma required.
  2. Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
  3. NY PSG and/or CRT/RT license(s) preferred.
  4. Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as an RPSGT in NY required; NY PSG and/or Respiratory Therapist license(s) preferred.
  5. Current BCLS certification required.
  6. Proof of immunizations required.
