About The Position

Full Time RPSGT and/or RT needed #urgentlyhiring

Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 available.

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking a full-time experienced RPSGT or RT to work in our Midtown lab in MD. The position involves providing sleep services 3-4 nights per week from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Competitive hourly rates are available, depending on experience.

MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. We partner with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive, fully integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care management of sleep disorders.

Responsibilities include:
  • Facilitating tests and collecting data
  • Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
  • Following proper polysomnographic procedures, including the use of electrodes and sensors, equipment calibration, and fitting airway pressure masks
  • Analyzing (scoring) clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes and tabulating final data for review
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and laws
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma required
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred
  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as an RPSGT and/or Respiratory Therapist license(s) and MD State License are required
Physical Demands of the Job:

The physical demands are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Regularly standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment
  • Using hands to operate office equipment
  • Regularly lifting/moving up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
