Job summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a capable Applications Developer to join our remote team. You will act as a team leader or technical member, planning, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting moderately complex processes, systems, or networks, ensuring deliverables meet SLAs.

Responsibilities include defining functional requirements, developing specifications and documentation, and contributing to audit controls alongside Security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience designing, developing, implementing, or supporting moderately complex information systems.
• Experience with mainframe, distributed, or web-based systems and related tools.

Job Description

Location Details: Remote Location. Position Schedule / Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Position Summary: Serves as a team leader or technical team member in the planning, designing, developing, implementing, and/or supporting moderately complex new or revised processes, systems, or networks, or segments of a large or complex system (e.g., complex maintenance project). Responsible for the timely completion and quality of assigned deliverables and strives to achieve service level objectives. Develops system specifications, prototypes, and all levels of documentation (e.g., structure charts, screen designs, data flow diagrams, file layouts, report layouts, and job run descriptions) in accordance with IS standards. Assists Security team in the development of appropriate audit controls and procedures to ensure the integrity and protection of company resources. Qualifications

Required Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent level of work experience. Work Environment

FLEX WORK IN WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

Compensation Applications Developer will earn a competitive annual salary of $90,000-$120,000 with annual bonus potential, based on performance. Time Off & Leave Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual-based, increases with tenure, eligible at 90 days of employment. Full-time new employees will receive up to 12 PTO days annually; accrual based on start date and may include additional PTO based on role and/or state & local requirements. Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month. Paid Holidays: Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays and 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules. Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules. Paid leave programs, including parental, bereavement, jury duty, and military leave.
