Job summary

Just Play is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join our finance team. This role supports quarterly closings, audits, and financial reporting in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You will collaborate with management, analyze data, and help optimize business processes while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of related experience are preferred; strong Excel and ERP skills, fluent English required.

• 3–5 years related accounting/finance experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Passion for problem solving and business process improvement
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly
• Excellent systems, technology, and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task while delivering accurate results
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
• Experience with ERP systems/databases
• Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Participate in and supervise quarterly royalty processes and reconciliations
• Interpret licensing contracts for royalty processing and audits
• Correspond with licensors regarding royalty reporting and payments
• Participate in and supervise quarterly commission processes and reconciliations
• Review audit reports to identify issues with ERP system data to ensure data integrity
• Provide supplemental support to financial accounting teams when needed
• Review transactional data for accuracy and consistency
• Assist in licensor royalty audits
• Assist in financial audits of the group as well as individual subsidiaries
• Assist in preparation of cash flow estimates
• Profit analysis of local manufacturing operations
