Job summary

City of Phoenix is seeking a Jr. Project Manager - Utility, Municipal water, Public work to plan, coordinate, and manage right-of-way, easement acquisition, and construction activities for CIP projects from design through closeout.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and 3–5+ years of experience in right-of-way, utility, pipeline, water, wastewater, or municipal infrastructure projects, with strong project management and team coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Urban Planning or related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience managing right-of-way, utility, pipeline, water, wastewater, transportation, or municipal infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing various teams internally and externally related to projects.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage right-of-way and easement acquisition.
• Oversee contractor oversight and CIP delivery from design through closeout.
• Liaise with engineering teams, property owners, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and municipal stakeholders.
• Ensure permits, traffic control, and installation activities are compliant during construction.
