Job summary

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a full-time Night Custodian – Roving (2:30pm – 11:00pm) to keep assigned buildings, classrooms, and offices clean and orderly; to perform custodial tasks on floors, furniture, walls and equipment; and to perform minor building and grounds maintenance. The role includes operating small power custodial and grounds equipment and related duties.

This position supports a district with 260 work days per year, offering 16 paid holidays plus 2

Qualifications

• Under supervision, to keep assigned buildings, classrooms, and office spaces clean and orderly.
• Perform custodial tasks for floors, furniture, walls and equipment.
• Carry out minor building and grounds maintenance and general gardening.
• Operate small power custodial and grounds equipment.
• Perform related work as required.
