Job summary

Westport Properties is seeking a Roving Apartment Maintenance Technician to travel between our self‑storage and multifamily properties, ensuring homes are safe, clean, and ready for residents. You will perform maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, doors, flooring, and landscaping.

The role involves coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager, prepping units for new residents, and providing on‑call support as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driverss license with clean record.
• Ability to travel between properties.
• EPA/HVAC certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to different properties to handle maintenance and repairs.
• Tackle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, doors, flooring, landscaping tasks.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to keep operations running smoothly.
• Prepare units for new residents and perform regular upkeep on existing ones.
• Stay on-call occasionally (about one week every 8 weeks).
• Keep maintenance logs and assist with snow removal during winter.
