Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Hands-on experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, and Drywall is highly desired.
  • Willing to obtain First Aid/CPR, Fire Director Certificate, Weekly Fire Certificate, and OSHA 10.

Job Summary

The Roving Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of multiple properties within the Los Angeles region. The technician will provide on-site maintenance services at various residential (HOA) properties, responding to work orders and performing general repairs and preventive maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, and equipped with a personal vehicle along with the necessary tools to complete assignments independently.


Essentail Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs at various properties throughout the Los Angeles region.
  • Respond to service requests and work orders promptly, ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems, including checking heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment.
  • Coordinate with property management and team members to prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety standards, local building codes, and regulations.
  • Maintain and organize personal tools and equipment required for daily tasks.
  • Be available for on-call after-hours emergency maintenance, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with property management, residents, and team members regarding job status, timelines, and any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and inventory of tools and materials used.
  • Ensure properties are clean and safe, following all health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Hands on experience or coursework in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting and Drywall is highly desired.
  • High Rise Property Management or Hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service oriented attitude
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Must be willing to obtain the following certificates: First Aid/CPR, Fire Director Certificate, Weekly Fire Certificate, and OSHA 10.
  • Must possess a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license to travel between various properties in the Los Angeles region.
