Red River Credit Union (RRCU) seeks a Roving Loan Officer to perform all loan functions for members within the authorized limits set by the Board. The position includes handling indirect loans, conducting financial counseling, and maintaining member records.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of lending experience in a financial institution.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Competent computer skills and standard office equipment.
• Strong professional demeanor and ability to work with members.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Adherence to team values and professional conduct.

Perform all loan functions for members up to authorized limit set by the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various branch locations, as assigned, to assist when short-staffed.
• Interviews members requesting loans in person or by telephone; completes and approves loan applications, provides NADA values, monthly payments, and loan payoffs to members.
• Works indirect loans as assigned.
• Conducts financial counseling with members.
• Works other branches as needed.
• Updates member records on computer system and work assigned delinquent accounts.
• Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of experience in a lending capacity for a financial institution.
• High school diploma or the equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Competent computer skills and use of standard office equipment.
• Ability to meet, speak, and deal effectively with people, being professional always.
• Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
