Oregon Department of Corrections is seeking a Roving Dental Assistant 2/Dental Care Coordinator in Salem with an underfill option. The role supports ODOC, BOPPPS, and OCE employees, coordinating patient care and scheduling both in-house and external treatments.

Proficient with Fusion EHR and dental instrument maintenance is required. Responsibilities include assisting dentists, ensuring instrument readiness, maintaining infection control, and documenting care plans.

Qualifications

• Proven chairside dental assisting experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
• Experience with dental materials and instrument care.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate patient dental care by coordinating in-house and outside treatments.
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist.
• Maintain dental materials, instruments, and equipment.
• Ensure infection control guidelines are followed.
