Job summary

Leedo Cabinets is seeking a CNC Router Operator to manage the CNC Router machine, load and unload parts, and ensure materials meet quality specifications. The operator will reject parts not meeting standards and perform preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ experience with CNC routers, can read optimization programs, and maintain safe, organized work areas while documenting maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience with a CNC router.
• Operate CNC Router, load/unload parts, and download programs.
• Perform inspections to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and document maintenance.

Job Summary

Leedo Cabinets is a leading supplier of cabinetry and accessories to large multifamily general contractors across the countryThe CNC Router Operator is responsible for managing the CNC Router machine, helping to load and unload the machines while ensuring the material and parts meet the quality specifications, rejecting parts below the standard specifications, and completing preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operation of a CNC Router machine including power on, power off, manual functions such as jog, loading of parts, unloading parts, and downloading computer programs posted on the company server

Read and understand optimization programs and maintain a computer work library of jobs past, present, and future.

Perform inspection of completed parts and their adherence to the quality specifications.

Maintain paperwork flow.

Detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools.

Maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Maintain and document preventative maintenance functions.

Other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

Demonstrate an ability to learn and understand the workings and function of an xyz grid and view parts in a 2-d perspective.

Ability to describe to the maintenance team issues with the machine

Ability to communicate with team leaders and other team members.

Must be able to safely lift parts or pieces up to 50 pounds over short distances

Ability to trouble shoot programs and machine maintenance issues.

Operator needs to understand feed speeds, tool handling, cutting principles, measuring devices, tool holders

Education and/or Experience

3 to 5 years’ experience working with a CNC router

High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions

Factory environment, possibly including areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators as required.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 30 pounds.
