Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Machine Operator I to set up and operate a production machine in line with established procedures and guidelines. The role requires maintaining material and supplies for efficient operation and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, safe machine operation, proper handling of finished products, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembling is required.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.

• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
