Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Routing Administrator in Arlington, TX, to support our distribution network. The role involves handling routing inputs, updating addresses, and ensuring timely routing for daily deliveries.

You will work closely with hubs, schedulers, analysts, and routers to maintain efficient routes and resolve issues promptly. The position requires a high school diploma, at least one year in an administrative setting, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year administrative experience or in related field.
• Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships across levels.

Responsibilities

• Interface with manual inputs using Descartes Route Planner.
• Update customer addresses and service time as needed.
• Evaluate customer circumstances and escalate orders as required.
• Prepare routing for daily route completion and act as liaison among Hubs, Schedulers, Routing Analysts, and Routers.

The Routing Administrator position is located in Arlington, TX.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

• Interface with various manual inputs with Descartes Route Planner:
• Update customer addresses
• Input corrected service time
• Evaluate and respond to customer special circumstances:
• Escalate orders (same-day routes, unplanned zone deliveries
• Update specific delivery instructions
• Complete routing preparation for effective daily route completion
• Act as communication liaison between Hubs, Schedulers, Routing Analysts and Routers

• Proven proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Microsoft Projects, etc.)
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels to work organizationally toward solutions and excellent leadership and consensus building skills
• Responsible for achieving efficiency and production objectives consistent with quality requirements
