Job summary

Ubergrippen Indoor Climbing Denver is seeking a Routesetting Professional to join our team on a part-time or full-time hourly (non-exempt) basis, split between Denver and Castle Rock. The role focuses on creating engaging, high-quality routes for climbers of all levels and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Independently setting up all rigging and safety equipment to Übergrippen standards for setting on ropes and boulders.
• Set on average 2-4 routes (average 3) per shift on walls 25–40 ft high or 6–9 boulders during a regular 8-hour day.
• Assist daily setter duties with minimal supervision: stripping, hold wash, setup/cleanup of equipment, and organization.
• Participate in daily forerunning up to 5.13/V10 and provide feedback on climber size and intended difficulty.
• Perform wall maintenance including repairs, nut checks, anchor checks, rope checks, and Auto Belay inspections.
• Maintain strict adherence to Übergrippen safety practices and PPE.
