Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Newton, MS, is seeking a Router Operator to setup and process plywood parts through routers and other wood cutting machines. You will read prints, calibrate and changeover machines, feed wood stock, and perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, maintaining 5S standards, and completing daily tasks and timesheets. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with benefits; travel is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Ability to read parts prints and verify dimensions.
• Experience reading tape measures, calipers, and depth gauges.
• Knowledge of LO/TO safety procedures and general manufacturing safety.

• Set up, calibrate and changeover machines to print specifications.
• Feed wood stock through machines to create specified parts.
• Monitor machines for proper cutting and drilling; quality checks against plan.
