Job summary

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists in New Jersey is seeking a route-based Customer Advocate to develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive sales and service.

The role requires a clean driving record, ability to lift 50 pounds, DOT medical certification, and computer literacy; duties include loading, inventory management, and route relief to support our customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT medical certification or ability to obtain one.
• Must meet DOT eligibility and be able to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and move linen carts.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Support Customer Advocates in building strong customer relationships via responsive sales and service strategies.
• Load and unload truck and maintain truck organization.
• Manage customer inventory and understand pricing, codes, and product availability.
• Prepare and follow up work orders, ensure invoice accuracy.
• Provide route relief and additional route support as needed.
• Make special deliveries and assist with lead generation.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Salary - $25.00 - $30.00 Per/Hour

This is a route-based service-oriented position supporting our Customer Advocates in establishing, maintaining and building strong customer relationships through responsive and creative sales and service strategies.

• Support and promote our values and the ImageFIRST way to build the company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, customers and community.
• Communication: Excellent oral, written, phone and face to face
• Load and unload truck, truck organization.
• Manage customer inventory
• Product knowledge: pricing, codes, colors, sizing, changes/quantities, availability, product application
• Paperwork: work order preparation and follow-up, invoice accuracy
• Provide route relief to cover Customer Advocate vacations and call offs (flexibility)
• Provide additional route support as needed (Reroutes, additional volume etc…)
• Make special deliveries to customers
• Lead generation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Clean driving record
• Must possess a valid DOT (Department of Transportation) medical certification or obtain one within a designated timeframe.
• This role occasionally requires covering delivery routes in the absence of regular drivers; therefore, candidates must meet DOT eligibility requirements and be comfortable operating company vehicles as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds plus and push and pull carts of linen
• Must be computer literate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Some delivery, logistics and/or route experience
• One year experience with account management and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Knowledge: Practical insight specific to the textile services industry andoperations
