Preferred Qualifications:
As a Route Service Technician, you'll spend three days each week managing your own designated route, servicing and cleaning approximately 50-60 portable restrooms throughout a specific area. You'll start early to stay ahead of traffic and the summer heat while ensuring every unit meets PortaPros' high standards. The remaining two days will keep you engaged with deliveries, pickups, off-route cleaning requests, and temporary fencing projects. Each day presents different challenges and opportunities to solve problems, stay active, and represent a trusted local company while delivering dependable service throughout the community.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends required to support events and customer needs. Route days begin early to maximize efficiency and avoid heavy traffic and extreme summer temperatures. Depending on route density and driving distance, route days may run longer. Delivery and pickup days typically begin at 8:00 AM and are generally shorter. During the summer season, team members average slightly over 40 hours per week, while winter hours typically average slightly under 40 hours per week.
