Job description

What you will do

Candidate will maintain and grow a route servicing existing fire extinguisher, kitchen hood, e-light, and pre-engineered and possibly engineered gas system customers. Inspect, service, repair, and install 2 or more suppression product lines: emergency lights, fire extinguishers, pre-engineered, and industrial systems according to safety requirements and manufacturer's specifications.

How you will do it
  1. Make recommendations based on manufacturer's specifications and local codes.
  2. Identify deficiencies, quote, sell, and repair on-site.
  3. Upsell existing customers to new products and services to meet current fire code regulations.
  4. Sell new accounts on the route based on compliance criteria.
  5. Meet or exceed quotas set by the supervisor.
  6. Call on potential customers to offer suppression products and services.
  7. Upsell and cross-sell to existing customers to meet fire code compliance.
What we look for
Required
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid motor vehicle license.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to transport equipment and tools up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work in restricted areas and maneuver ladders.
  • Demonstrate high-level customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Reside in or near Springdale, Tulsa, or Bentonville, AR, and willing to work remotely from Little Rock, AR.
Preferred
  • Experience in the Fire Protection industry.
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards and dangerous goods is an asset.
