Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. Our partners drive a truck along an established route and service and sell within an existing customer base. It is a physical, fast-paced, indoor/outdoor position in which our partners deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products and other facility service products.

Our Route Service Sales Representatives enjoy:

Key Responsibilities Include:

1. You are the face of Cintas to our customers and must work to build rapport with key decision makers
2. Ensure quality standards, and proactively solve customer concerns.
3. Grow our existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services
4. Negotiating service agreement renewals and control inventory while working professionally and safely
5. Comply with driving and vehicle regulations.

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

1. Qualified candidates must meet all requirements outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs. In order to comply with DOT requirements, qualified candidates must, prior to their first day of employment:
2. Have an active driver's license
3. Be at least 21 years of age
4. Obtain a DOT medical certification
5. Provide documentation regarding their previous employment

All successful candidates will also possess:

1. The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
2. A High School diploma, GED or Military Service
3. The ability to demonstrate a strong customer service orientation
4. Self-motivation and the drive to work in an environment that relies on teamwork to meet goals
5. A positive attitude, along with ambition, organization and service spirit

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of total compensation for this role ranges between $45,000.00 - $90,000.00/Year and is a combination of base salary plus earned commissions. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, performance, and other business and organization needs. This disclosed range has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
