Interstate Batteries recherche un candidat pour un rôle de vendeur chargé de servir et d'élargir une base de clients. Ce poste repose sur l'établissement de relations solides avec les concessionnaires, la vente de batteries, et demande une autonomie significative pour prendre des décisions tout en maintenant un haut niveau de service client. Le candidat doit posséder un permis de conduire valide et une expérience en vente.

Qualifications

• Doit posséder un permis CDL valide et un bon dossier de conduite.
• Expérience préalable en vente hautement souhaitable.
• Capacité à lire, écrire et effectuer des calculs basiques.

Responsibilities

• Vendre de nouvelles batteries et maintenir les relations avec les concessionnaires.
• Facturer les unités qui ne durent pas la période de garantie.
• Servir chaque concessionnaire et établir de nouveaux comptes.

Purpose of Job:

To consistently service and aggressively expand an assigned set of customers along a predetermined route.

Job Components:

• Sell new batteries
• Invoice all units that fail to last warranty period
• Rotate batteries
• Collect money
• Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date
• Service each dealer
• Set up new accounts
• Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships
• Complete documentation on a timely basis
• Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to Distributorship

Qualifications:

• Must possess current CDL and have clean driving record.
• Prior sales experience highly desirable
• Good communication skills
• Strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Current, valid state driver’s license
• Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales , customer service and delivery experience

Uses frequent independent judgment when making decisions

Work Environment:

• Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs.
• Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
