Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Driver in Gilroy, CA to complete daily service routes, service and stock portable toilets and holding tanks, and maintain professional customer contact. The role requires safety adherence and ability to work with dispatch.

Weekend work may be required based on conditions. High school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of truck driving experience is preferred; CDL not required, but a DOT medical card must be obtained before starting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of truck driving experience preferred; CDL not required; DOT medical card required before starting.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Safety-minded with attention to detail.
• Industry experience is a plus; training provided on products and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily service routes in sequence.
• Service, clean and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, and related equipment.
• Maintain professional customer contact and clear lines of communication with Dispatcher.
• Follow safety guidelines and safely operate a Route Service truck daily.
• Vacuum, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on customer site.
• Stock towels, toilet paper, hand soap and refill water holding tanks.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Frequent customer interaction and recommendations for additional services.
