Primary Purpose

The Service Technician operates a company service truck and drives to various locations to service/pump/clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks. This position is the heart of our business.

Essential Functions

1. Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
2. Perform all work duties in a safe manner in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to ensure no accidents or injuries.
3. Perform duties by sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. In addition, perform lifting/pushing between 50 and 150 lbs. on a frequent basis during work shift.
4. Conduct portable toilets servicing to USS 8 point service standard.
5. Perform customer service interaction when on customer work sites to ensure they are getting the services completed to their standard.
6. Ability to be flexible in order to meet customer needs when routes needs to be adjusted or changed.
7. Provide routing feedback to Operations Manager/Supervisor/Coordinator to be most efficient as well as giving the customer the best service possible.
8. Ability to strategically plan for customer needs by discussing their portable toilet needs, so the customer's current and future needs are satisfied.

Physical Requirements

1. Sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
2. Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls. Repeat the same movements.
3. See details of objects that are less than a few feet away and also at greater distance.
4. Speak clearly so customers can understand.
5. Understand the speech of another person.
6. Frequently hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.
7. Be able to walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion.
8. Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling.
9. Lift up to 40lbs from your waist to your shoulders.
10. Lift 30lbs from the floor to your head.
11. Crouch and squat.
12. Push 100lbs and pull 100lbs horizontally.

Salary Range

$15.50 – $25.50 / hour

Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
