Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Louisville is seeking a Delivery Merchandiser Trainee to learn route delivery and merchandising across disciplines. You will stock and face products on shelves and displays, including coolers and vaults, and support route relief with potential permanent assignments.

You will learn to operate a Class A CDL, use a handheld device for invoicing, and follow safety and regulatory guidelines while building customer relationships and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for your state of residency and excellent driving history will be reviewed.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) not required for hire.
• Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Learn to drive a Class A CDL and obtain licensing within 10 weeks of training start date.
• Learn processes and service customers using a handheld device; perform check-in/out accounting.
• Secure company assets and inventory; safely handle products during delivery at customer locations.
• Develop merchandising habits to meet standards and execute commercial plans at customer outlets.
• Develop customer service skills and relay issues to management.
• Adhere to safety standards and FMCSA rules regarding DOT Hours of Service.
