Herr Foods Inc. in Claysburg, PA is hiring a Route Sales Support Specialist to assist DSD route sales teams on temporary vacancies, covering the Martinsburg, WV area. This full-time role offers 45–55 hours per week at $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include supporting route execution, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service on assigned routes. Candidates must be 18+, possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, and pass a job assessment and drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• Must possess an excellent driving record.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years; no DUIs in past 3 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass job-related assessment with 70% or higher.
• All offers contingent on drug test; random drug testing for active employees.
• Able to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Stable work history with good references.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with route sales management to ensure continuous and quality service per route assignment.
• Performs route sales duties including merchandising, selling, displays, truck organization and inventory management.
• Maintain truck organization, planogram integrity, and product fulfillment per route specifications and RSP preferences.
• Provide superior customer service and address specific customer requests per route assignment.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the Sales Support Specialist position, joining our Claysburg, PA team and servicing the Martinsburg, WV area.

• HOURLY RATE: $20.00/hour
• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday approximately 45-55 hours a week.

Job Summary: This position supports DSD route sales employees and branch staffing needs by providing coverage on routes during temporary vacancies such as vacation, personal days, leaves, and/or other business related reasons.

Qualifications You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the current state of residence.

Key Responsibilites

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Communicates with RSP’s or management team regarding necessary route execution plans to provide for continuous and uninterrupted quality service to customer base, per route assignment.
• Performs route sales duties such as merchandising, selling, building displays, truck organization and inventory management.
• Regards individualized details of each RSP’s preferences whom they are supporting by maintaining truck organization, planogram integrity, and product fulfillment accordingly to route specifications and RSP preferences.
• Provides superior customer service and attends to specific customer requests, per route assignment.
