Job Title: Delivery Driver

Description

We are seeking a responsible Delivery Driver to join our team in Sherman, TX. The ideal candidate will safely operate a company step van, ensuring timely delivery of products to clients while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

1. Safely operate a company step van in designated areas, providing products and services to clients.
2. Verify daily vehicle maintenance and maintain proper operator documentation.
3. Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
4. Load and unload products following company policies and procedures.
5. Review invoices daily for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
6. Meet sales goals and promote route growth to increase profitability.
7. Develop leads and prospects, solicit new business, and assist with onboarding new accounts.
8. Understand and communicate services, policies, and pricing to customers.
9. Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly and courteously.
10. Prioritize safety for yourself and others by following safe work practices and using proper tools and equipment.
11. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
• Experience in customer service with diverse customer interactions.
• Strong math skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Experience in selling services/products and generating new business is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and quickly resolve customer concerns.

Working Environment and Safety Requirements:

• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
• Fast-paced environment with occasional long and irregular hours.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs regularly and over 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to perform bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching activities.
