Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Route Sales Professional to merchandise, stock, and ensure proper product rotation on store shelves and displays, guaranteeing quality and freshness. You will drive sales by securing new display space and setting up incremental displays, using sales data to inform store-level strategies.

You will manage new account opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and ensure promotions are executed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Must be able to obtain Chauffer License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN).
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee quality and freshness.
• Drive sales by securing new display space and setting up incremental displays; use sales data for store strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships; ensure promotions are executed.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and new customers.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures for products, invoices, and cash; maintain inventory counts.
• Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
• Submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.

What You Will Be Doing:

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN).
• Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers.
• 1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred.
• Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
