Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Wisconsin seeks a Route Sales Specialist to support route operations and deliver fresh products to customers on open routes. Responsibilities

• Provide vacation relief for Route Sales Professionals and Loaders.
• Assist the Sales Leadership Team in day-to-day operations and issues as needed.
• Assist with training of new Route Sales Professionals.
• Deliver fresh product to existing customers on open routes until new RSPs are trained.
• Assist with rack resets.
• Partner with Route Sales Professionals to create alignment in account chains.
• Route operation activity including ordering, distribution, merchandising, promotional activity, holiday planning and meeting customer expectations.
• Communicate with customers to explain promotions and delivery expectations.
• Ensure product distribution meets contract terms and customer satisfaction.
• Assist customer relations to sell new products and gain space/position.
• Provide a high level of customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Work location will vary depending on staffing needs.

What you will be doing:

• Work location will vary depending on staffing needs.

What we need from you:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and retain a DOT medical card.
• Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN).
• Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers.
• 1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred.
• Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
