Vestis is seeking a Relief Customer Service Representative to operate a step van, deliver products to clients, and balance customer service with sales growth objectives. The role emphasizes safety, accurate invoicing, and building customer loyalty while supporting the broader sales team.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with occasional long hours and varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
• Customer service experience with a broad range of customers.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and solve customer concerns quickly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a step van in designated area to provide products and service to clients.
• Verify daily vehicle maintenance and maintain operator documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure timely delivery of product.
• Load/unload product per company policies and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to increase profitability.
• Develop leads, call on prospective customers, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
• Communicate services, policies, and pricing clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and handle issues promptly and courteously.
• Follow safety practices and perform other duties as required.
