Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Dodge City, KS is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role trains to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services along a defined route.

CDL will be paid for by Safety-Kleen. As a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, Safety-Kleen offers comprehensive benefits, company-paid training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CDL B required or to be obtained within 180 days (company paid).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to be obtained within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills are required.
• Successful background check, drug test, and physical per position.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on route.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete all required documentation and labeling.
• Generate and collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts.
• Follow all local, state and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles per U.S. DOT and company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
