Job summary

Freudenberg Residential Filtration Technologies Inc. is seeking a Route Sales Representative to deliver products to customers, grow sales, and build lasting customer relationships across the United States. You will plan daily routes, manage inventory, and ensure stores display products per company guidelines.

The role requires DSD experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid DOT driver’s license, and the ability to travel as needed. A DOT medical card and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) experience is required.
• Ability to plan, work independently and make informed business decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Delivery: Deliver products to customers and sell additional products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Route Operations: Plan and execute daily route schedules and service all accounts as required.
• Warehouse and Inventory Management: Load products at the warehouse daily and maintain truck inventory.
• Compliance and Communication: Adhere to safety and DOT policies; communicate with the District Manager daily.
• Truck Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report major issues.
• System and Reporting Updates: Input daily sales transactions and report to the DM.
• Store Compliance: Ensure stores adhere to planograms and maintain displays.
• Daily Communication: End-of-day calls with DM about activities and opportunities.
• Other Duties: Participate in store resets and special projects as needed.
