Job Description: Route Sales Representative at FritoLay

Pay Rate: $64,000 / year target earnings

Work Schedule: Varies, including weekends and holidays, with days off scheduled accordingly. Approximately 50 hours/week.

Route Sales Representatives are critical to our success at FritoLay! Our team is responsible for delivering, selling, and merchandising FritoLay’s complete product line, including Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Fritos, and more, to local stores such as gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery chains. As a Route Sales Representative, you will drive a FritoLay truck, work independently to unload orders, merchandise products, and collaborate with store managers to increase sales, manage orders, and keep records throughout your shift.

Although you will start as a Route Sales Representative, we invest in your growth within our company or our parent company, PepsiCo. Key tasks include:

  1. Undergoing four to six weeks of dedicated driving and selling training with our team.
  2. Running routes, experiencing different stores, and meeting new customers.
  3. Growing sales through relationship-building, display selling, and supporting national initiatives.
  4. Attaining a consistent schedule with designated days off.
  5. Working in a fun, fast-paced, and physical environment.

Our operations run 24 hours a day, so schedules may vary. Team members often work weekends and holidays. This role is physically demanding; you should be prepared to be on your feet for the entire shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and the ability to obtain additional licenses as required by law.
  • Be able to frequently lift 40 lbs., with or without accommodations.
