Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring for a route-based sales position serving Mission Valley, La Jolla, and Encinitas. You will place orders, merchandise products to ensure shelf availability, and promote new items.

The role combines base pay with commission, offers health and welfare benefits, a 401K with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and a vehicle for daily routes. Walking through retail spaces, you will build strong store relationships and drive additional sales.

Qualifications

• Grocery experience preferred but not required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using equipment.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products.
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, and rotate product.
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

• Pay: $62000 – $64000
• Compensation is a combination of base pay plus commission
• Monday — Friday schedule (occasional weekends) on assigned route

What You Will Do

In this position, you will place orders and merchandise product to ensure our products are available on store shelves for grocery shoppers.

What We Look For
