Job summary

Odeko in Austin, Texas is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to join our on-demand route team. You’ll drive throughout the greater Austin area, delivering customer orders and promoting seasonal items to upsell on your route.

• Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Drive across the greater Austin area delivering customer orders while following all safety protocols.
• Promote seasonal items and upsell to customers on your route.
• Offer pricing and information as well as product samples.
• Enter and exit the vehicle from the driver’s door/cargo bay to pull the customer’s order and stack it on the dolly or hand truck, ensuring no product is damaged.
• Determine placement of merchandise while following safety and lifting protocols.
• Use a hand truck to move cases and loose items across stairs, ramps, and sidewalks.
• Correctly identify any order issues and resolve them in real-time.
• Collect payment from customers, as needed, and deliver invoices.
• Frequently move boxes weighing up to 60 pounds throughout the fulfillment center.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of merchandise in and out of delivery vehicles, trucks, and vans.
