Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Route Sales Professional to drive sales across multiple routes, maintain inventory and product rotation, and ensure promotional execution while building strong customer relationships.

You will set up incremental displays, use sales data to inform store strategies, handle daily route settlements, and safely operate the route truck while meeting DOT requirements. This role offers substantial growth and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• DOT medical card is required.
• Chauffeur license if located in IN, MI or TN.
• Ability to read, speak and write English for communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory, merchandise, and product rotation on store shelves and displays for optimal quality and freshness.
• Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store-level strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring promotion execution.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts.
• Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
• Submit required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.

We are looking for an energetic and customer‑focused individual to drive our sales teams across multiple routes, ensuring product quality and promotional execution while building strong customer relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

• $300.00 weekly base pay + commission ($50,000 - $65,000 annual average)
• Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan

Shift Schedule

Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri, and Sat (starting 2:00 am or 3:00 am)

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintain inventory, merchandise, and product rotation on store shelves and displays for optimal quality and freshness.
• Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store‑level strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring promotion execution.

Position Requirements

• Minimum age: 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Chauffeur license if location is in IN, MI, or TN.
• Physical ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods, perform frequent reaching, and use fingers.
• 1–3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English sufficient for communication with the general public, understanding traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports and records.
