Herr Foods Inc. in Perryopolis, PA is seeking a Route Sales Representative to safely drive a step-van, sell and merchandise Herr's products, and provide excellent customer service to grocery and independent stores.

The role covers the Clarksburg, WV area with a Monday–Friday schedule. The position is full-time with a compensation range of $55,000–$60,000 per year, eligible for a retention bonus of up to $250, plus medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the current state of residence.
• Must possess an excellent driving record.
• No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No DUI’s within the past 3 years
• Must pass a job-related assessment with a score of 70% or better.
• All Herr Foods Inc. job offers are contingent upon drug testing and Random Drug Testing for active employees.
• Able to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Stable work history with good references.

Responsibilities

• Sell, deliver, stock and merchandise Herr's brand snack foods to stores.
• Progressively increase current customer sales volume and build relationships.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate product knowledge.
• Increase customer base by soliciting new accounts and manage displays.
• Process orders and invoices, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections and keep the truck clean.
