Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods is seeking a Route Sales Associate in Reno, NV to service, deliver, and sell products to existing customers on assigned routes.

You will follow up on customer service issues, promote new products, and work toward meeting sales and profit goals while maintaining inventory and route paperwork. This role requires a valid CDL and at least 1 year of sales experience; a DOT medical certificate may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience is required.
• Commercial Driver’s License and/or DOT Medical Examiner Certificate may be required.
• Grocery or direct sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve and deliver product to existing customers on the route.
• Follow up on customer service issues to ensure needs are met.
• Sell new products and set up promotional materials for existing customers.
• Make calls and sales to new customers.
• Meet sales and profit goals for the route.
• Maintain spoils, samples, and allowances at expected levels.
• Place supply and customer orders as needed.
• Ensure route sales truck is serviced.
• Maintain product inventory and route paperwork accurately.
