Job summary

Prairie-Farms-Dairy is seeking a Route Driver in the Hammond/Kenner area to deliver products, manage inventory and complete required paperwork. The role requires a Class B CDL, strong safety awareness and the ability to lift and move loads as needed.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and a weekly guaranteed pay of $750 plus commission, with opportunity for growth within a distribution-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class B CDL and clean driving record.
• Experience in food/beverage industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and operate hand truck/pallet-jack.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to customers in a timely, courteous, and accurate manner.
• Maintain route inventory levels per company procedures.
• Submit daily customer paperwork and deposits (invoices, load orders, handheld reports).
• Complete pre/post trip inspections and DOT paperwork; ensure load securement.
