Job description

Reliant Dry Ice is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to safely and efficiently deliver dry ice in various forms to meet our customer's needs. This is a Monday through Friday position.

Requirements: Must be 21 or older, CDL Class B. Forklift experience and/or electric pallet jack, working safe, lifting up to 75 lbs. regularly throughout the day, hardworking, organized, customer service skills.

Summary:

Drives truck over established route to deliver and sell products or render services, collects money from customers, and makes change by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drives truck to deliver CO2 to customers' home or place of business.
• Installs CO2 and performs maintenance.
• Records sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
• Calls on prospective customers to solicit new business. Informs regular customers of new products or services.
• Listens to and resolves service complaints. Collects or picks up empty containers.
• Loads truck.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Schedules routine maintenance on truck.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Effective presentation of information to customers, clients, and employees.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and ability to interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to understand and carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions. Problem-solving skills involving concrete variables.
• Knowledge of order processing systems.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Driver's License - CDL Class B

Clear driving record and background check.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Must frequently lift/move up to 75 lbs. and occasionally up to 150 lbs.
