Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Route Sales Representative to build and maintain strong customer relationships on a scheduled Augusta route in Georgia. You will deliver hard goods and gas cylinders, retrieve empties, and perform yard and store duties with a focus on safety, accuracy, and reliability.

The role operates Monday through Friday, requiring physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors across varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement preferred.
• Customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old, with strong safety and driving fundamentals.
• Able to lift 25–75 lbs. and work outdoors in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver and unload hard goods and cylinders to customers and retrieve empties.
• Maintain load manifests and vehicle documents.
• Identify customer needs and maintain inventory levels to minimize emergency deliveries.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations and maintain required licenses.
• Perform counter sales and assist customers in-store when needed.
• Handle warehouse duties including receiving, shipping and paperwork.
• Assist with inventory, showroom displays and demonstrations.
