Job summary

PepsiCo in Sterling, VA is seeking a dependable Route Driver to service local retailers with on-time delivery and friendly service.

As a full-time driver, you will unload and stock products, check in orders, rotate inventory, and build relationships with store managers. You’ll train on routes and tools, work early hours, and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

Start time is 5:00 AM with routes typically completing around 9.2 hours; overtime may occur during the first months as you learn the routes.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and ability to obtain other licensures as required by state law.
• Be able to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Drive a PepsiCo truck on a route, serving local stores with care.
• Deliver and check in orders with store teams (including collecting proof of delivery when needed).
• Unload product, stock shelves and displays, and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and quality for consumers.
• Order product and maintain records throughout the day using provided tools (training provided).
• Build trusted relationships with store managers to grow sales, secure displays, and execute national and local initiatives.

Quick Look

• Pay: $73,600/Year Annual Target




• Location: Sterling, VA




• Work Days: Scheduled 5/7 days per week. The routes run 7 days/week so a relief employee can have any combination of days off within the week.




• Start Time: 5:00 AM




• End Time: Once the route is complete. Average 9.2 hours/day but new employees often take longer to complete the route during the first 6 months of employment while still learning.
