Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a CDL Class B route driver to provide route coverage, deliver product, place orders, and merchandise to keep products visible on store shelves.

Work Monday–Friday with some weekend travel and an early start; unload, place product in back room, and collect proof of delivery; use handheld devices and sales software.

Candidates should have DSD or grocery delivery experience, a High School diploma, and a Class B CDL with airbrake; must be 21+ and pass DOT checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in DSD, grocery delivery, or warehouse operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement; 21+ years old.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and handle frozen product safely.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide route coverage delivering product, placing orders, and merchandising.
• Work a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend travel and early start.
• Unload products, place in back room, and collect proof of delivery.
• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space.
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, and rotate product.

• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.

What You Will Do

In this CDL Class B position, you provide route coverage while delivering product, placing orders, and merchandising product to ensure our products are available on store shelves for grocery shoppers. In addition, this position provides opportunities to develop the leadership skills needed for leadership positions.

What We Look For

• Previous DSD, grocery, delivery, or warehouse experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements
