Job summary

Chesterman Company in Sioux Falls is seeking a full-time delivery driver to maximize customer service while efficiently transporting and delivering Coca-Cola products.

You will follow consistent delivery days and times, collect instructions, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and handle paperwork. The role requires a CDL B with air brake endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to meet DOT physical requirements. Monday–Friday, 6am start until route completion.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Must meet all DOT physical requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Be consistent with delivery day and time.
• Collect delivery instructions and verify route.
• Deliver product and pick up empties and damaged product.
• Maintain cash, truck inventory, invoices and paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of company vehicle.
• Adapt to changes and perform other tasks as assigned.

Salary Range: $19.75 Hourly

Job Shift: Day Shift/1st Shift

Position Summary: To maximize customer service and efficiently transport and deliver product.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be consistent with delivery day and time
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources and verify instructions and route
• Deliver product and pick up all empties and damaged product
• Accurately maintain cash collected, truck inventory, invoices, forms and related paperwork
• Responsible for first-line maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicle
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

Qualifications / Education/Experience

• High-School Diploma/GED
• No experience necessary – on the job training is performed
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record
• Valid Class B CDL w/airbrake endorsement
• Must be able to meet all DOT physical requirements

Work Environment

Depends upon the customer the employee is serving. May have to climb stairs and work in back rooms. Employee is subject to outside elements and may have to work in heat, cold, rain and snow.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
• Frequently lift/carry objects up to 75lbs; occasionally push/pull objects up to 150 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, squat, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus

Work Schedule

Monday thru Friday; 6am until route completion
