Job summary

Community Coffee Company, L.L.C. is seeking a Route Relief Sales Representative to support the Sales Manager by planning relief for assigned routes and ensuring uninterrupted service to customers.

You will deliver products, maintain inventory, and promote customer satisfaction in the absence of the regular Route Sales Representative. Responsibilities include planning relief schedules, delivering to customers, soliciting additional purchases, collecting payments, and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or sales experience required.
• Route sales and cold calling experience in a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environment preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL may be required based on location.
• DOT medical certification required.
• COVID vaccination may be required depending on customer requirements for route access.
• Internal Only: Experience with Community Coffee may fulfill this requirement with approval.

Responsibilities

• Plan relief schedules with the Sales Manager.
• Deliver products, equipment, and supplies to existing customers during relief periods.
• Solicit additional product purchases to drive sales.
• Collect customer payments and manage daily route deposits.
• Load and maintain truck inventory for each visit.
• Maintain product freshness and shelf presentation.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through service and support.
• Service and maintain coffee brewing equipment at customer locations.
• Record and update sales, inventory, and delivery information.
• Participate in trade shows and events to promote products.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep the truck clean.
• May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary.
