Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking motivated Route Relief Drivers to manage designated routes, grow accounts, and earn real commission on the business you build. This is a B2B sales and account management role with a truck, not a pure delivery job.

Your responsibilities include owning routes, soliciting new business, upselling, and maintaining accurate records while providing professional service to clients in hospitality, medical, and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and customer service experience are required.
• Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record over the last 3 years is required.
• Ability to drive a 26’ bobtail truck and handle loading/unloading of goods is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a designated route; this is account management and outside sales.
• Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services.
• Upsell existing customers on additional products and services.
• Drive a truck to deliver and pick up linen, uniforms, and related products on schedule; load and unload the truck.
• Build long-term customer relationships through responsive, professional service; resolve service complaints and keep supervisor informed.
• Maintain inventory and follow company inventory-control policies.
• Handle invoicing, collections, customer signatures, and accurate delivery/transaction records.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on the truck and maintain a professional appearance at stops.
• Learn new technology and systems quickly and adapt to updates independently.
• Attend training and service department meetings.
