Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Route Patrol Driver. You will serve and safeguard clients across multiple industries, conducting vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

A valid driver’s license is required; CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred. The role offers full-time hours with a consistent day-time schedule and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured conditions, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
